With the months passing quickly, the soon-to-be-parents had begun preparing for the baby's arrival. Baby-proofing rooms, and working on the nursery.

"How about John for a boy?" Cassandra asked while dipping her brush in the paint. They'd gone for a neutral color to stay faithful to their plan to find out the gender during birth. She paused for a moment to rest a hand on her growing baby bump, smiling as she waited to hear his opinion.

"Your kiss told me that you like me genuinely. And each one after that has only made the feeling stronger." She said honestly, caressing his cheek gently. "Every kiss is even better than the last. And I want you to kiss me right now, babe."

"That is because I did. I do." He almost rolled his eyes at her that it was silly that she said that. But it made sense to him.

He gently kissed her then, slowly with all that love he had for her, just as she'd implied about their kisses.

She realised how silly it sounded, but she trusted him to know what it meant. "I know.. The first person who does. Peter liked doing his own thing a bit too much."

She smiled into the kiss, her heart fluttering in that familiar way.

"I like my job a lot but I love coming home to you." He felt it important she knew that. That he always wanted to come home to her.

"I love that it's you coming home to me. To us."

She held his hand and placed it on her bump. He made her biggest dream come true.

"From a teenage girl's crush to the love of my life, the father of my children."

He moved his hand, gently caressing her bump, thinking he might get kicked again if he wasn't even more careful than usual. "It was because I was the bad boy wasn't it?" He laughed. He wasn't compared to some other people he knew.

"Still planning on more then." He looked at her a little more serious. "Let's make sure you and this one are okay first, then we can worry about more because we can't keep our hands off each other."

"Guilty as charged. I looked forward to our classes together.. And yeah, I did have my typical high school movie moments of watching you walk down the hallway, getting shy when you noticed me."

She nuzzled into his neck, sighing softly.

"Sounds good. I want to focus completely on this... To make sure my first pregnancy goes well."

"I hope I wasn't too much of a dick to you." He'd been... well having Scott as a brother sometimes made Alex act out a little.

He moved a hand to stroke her hair. "I'll do everything I possibly can to help you. Craving at 2am? Yeah I'll go find what you want."

"It wasn't too bad, don't worry. I never held it against you." She understood him even if she wasn't telepathic.

"You're the best, babe." The touch made her feel more safe and happy. "This already helps so much.. Being in your arms, your fingers brushing through my hair. Getting to see you smile."

"Babe, I will worry because I love you." He could forget it for the moment though.

He gave her a little lopsided grin. "Your smile makes me happy."

"And I appreciate that."

She smiled up at him, brushing her fingers against his cheek. "Then I'll make sure to smile often."

"Good." He leaned in to kiss her again. "I should go finish that painting." He wasn't moving though.

"Hmm yeah." She grinned into the kiss, reluctant to move as well. "My handsome handyman fiance."

"Maybe I should get a toolkit." He gave a sudden laugh. "If I start doing plumbing I can make jokes about cleaning pipes." He gave her a filthy smirk then.

"I might require your expertise often." She ran her fingers on his chest as she spoke. "You'll have just the right tool for my pipes." They'd become good at this flirty, playful banter.

He loved it, it was between them and their little playful jokes. Fun and sharing their love in a private fun way.

"Oh. I think I can call around pretty often for you and fit you in." He sighed happily.

"And you will get a nice reward for your work."

She kissed a spot on his neck and nuzzled into it. Everything about this moment felt so perfect.

He gave a very bad attempt at pushing her away, which was more him resting his hand on her shoulder. "I've got a better idea for a reward..." with a little manoeuvring he moved her to the middle of sofa and with a smirk he vanished under under the blanket that had been covering them. A kiss to her bump as he moved down hidden under the blanket.

"Oh my... I'm liking it already." She bit her lip in anticipation, feeling that pleasant surge of warmth from his kisses. Alex was so good at turning her on. One of her hands rested on the blanket, ready to grasp it when he got to his destination.

He hoped that she would be and her words made him more confident that she was. He gently tugged at her pants to get them off her as he settled between her legs.

She lifted her hips to help him get her pants off. He'd find her already getting wet for him. The thought of feeling his mouth on her was such a thrill.

He kissed the inside of her thigh as he finally got rid of the offending material between them, she couldn't see his grin but she probably knew. Before he leaned in to tease her with his tongue.

She could see his grin in her mind and it made her smile before she moaned his name. His tongue felt amazing, sending a surge of pleasure through her.

"Mm.. You know all the right spots, babe."

Alex hummed at her praise, he got just as much pleasure doing this as he hoped she was getting from it. He was being a little more careful as he slipped a finger inside her as he licked and kissed her still, he did move her leg over his shoulder.

"Oh Alex," she gasped out while squeezing the blanket, gladly moving her leg for him. The more he stimulated her, the more she soaked him.
